RL-Decor’s latest project was a full decoration at this beautiful three storey house locatedby the sea front, with lovely views of the isle of wight.

With freshly plastered ceilings we applied a seal coat and finished off with two coats of Macphersons brilliant white to give a nice flat non glear finish.

As the property was going to be a holiday let the client decided to use intelligent matt by Little greene company for the walls. Intelligent Matt is a low sheen, wipe-clean and washable paint. It works well if the previous tenants marks the wall, allowing it to be wiped ready for the next tenant to arrive. The colour used through out the house on all walls was shirting with a little colour thrown in the downstairs cloak room which was Juniper Ash.

R L Decor also prepared all the wood work from top to bottom in the property. We applied two undercoat’s and two top coats to give the woodwork a solid finish and durability it needed. We used Johnstones water based under coat brilliant white and Johnstone’s waterbase satinwood brilliant white for the top coat.

We was also instructed to supply and install a Venetian polished plaster splashback for the kitchen area of the property. The client wasn’t to keen on the colours within the colour chart so we customised a grey to suit the surrounding area and finished the splashback with a gold wax.

RL Decor used a few methods within this project. we sprayed, rolled and brushed to maximise the best possible finish for this high end property. The results as you can see are outstanding and fresh.
